A unique Valtech offering, JumpStart, is a skill-centered, systematic mentoring program designed to overcome the “morning after blues.” In a JumpStart program, a small group of students apply newly acquired skills to a life-size project under the guidance of a Valtech mentor. This reinforces skill acquisition and prepares the students for real-world challenges.
Project focused
JumpStart focuses on achieving specific learning objectives in the context of an actual project, delivering accelerated experience to your team in the application of new skills. A Valtech instructor/coach joins your project for 2-4 weeks, bringing with him one or two focused courses to help you learn a new technology and then immediately apply it to your project.
Just-in-time skills
Rather than teaching all aspects of the new technology, JumpStart transfers the skills that students need now, to perform their project role. This increases retention and productivity, thereby reducing your dependence on costly external resources.
You retain ownership
Valtech ensures your ownership of future projects through our integrated, proven skill development model based on active learning and project-based mentoring.
