Red Hat Sees Increased Demand Across the Channel for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Jboss Enterprise Middleware Solutions in Europe.
Open source leader doubles channel coverage in the United Kingdom as solution providers and system integrators look to Red Hat for business partnerships.

London, UK -- July 28, 2008 -- Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced that is has achieved 100 percent growth in the number of channel partners in the United Kingdom over the past eight months. In response to increased demand for Red Hat Enteprise Linux and JBoss Enterprise Middleware solutions, the Company launched its new partner program in November 2007. Red Hat UK's partner base now includes more than 97 solution providers and system integrator partners.

New partners have established high-level commitments with Red Hat UK as Advanced and Premier Business Partners. Partners reaching this status are considered leaders in open source services within their market segments and must meet demanding program requirements. Out of the 73 new partners, nine have been accredited with these high-profile program marks since November 2007. The newly accredited Advanced and Premier Red Hat Business Partners for JBoss Enterprise Middleware solutions are Valtech Ltd, Portal Technology, Tier 2 Consulting, and BSG Ltd. Red Hat Enterprise Linux new Advanced and Premier Business Partners include Abtech Computer Services UK, Syan, Fusis Group and OCSL.
