Selection Process

 

 

We have always attracted best of breed specialists in the Applications Development and IT Consultancy arena and strive to maintain the high quality of our consultants.

We regularly attract the ‘Experts’ to join Valtech through an internal, reward based, referral system that gives our consultants the opportunity to introduce and recommend people they rate highly in their field of expertise.

We also invest in advertising in specialist websites, including our own, and publications that are read regularly by the industry experts.

On receiving your CV we endeavour to respond to you. Although we try our best to contact everyone who has sent their enquiry to us it is not always possible to give you the personal attention we would like to at all times.


 

 

The Interview Process

 

An initial 30 minute telephone qualification stage with the Recruitment Manager to introduce Valtech to you and discuss your current job situation.

We will require all candidates to complete an approximately 2 hour long Technical tests at this stage which will give us an indication of your technology strengths based on your experience to date. Successful candidates will be invited to attend face to face interviews, as outlined below.


The 1st interview:
1 hour HR interview with the Recruitment Manager 90 minutes for Technical interview with a Senior or Principal Consultant.

The 2nd interview:
A further Technical interview if required 30-45 minutes with a Director. If required, a further 30 minute meeting with the Recruitment Manager to give both parties the final opportunity to clarify any specific issues.
